I would like to get a set of lowering springs but I'am afraid it will cost me too much at the track. How harmful are lowering springs when trying to get the most out of your car at the track? Right now I don't have traction problems, I use ET Streets on a mild setup. Once my 351w goes in, it might have traction problems. Will lowering springs kill me or should I do drag springs and live with the see-saw motion? It isn't my daily driver but I drive it on the street the same amount of time I spend at the track.

I had lowering springs and just changed them out for drag springs. There is a huge diferance, I could not get any weight transfer with the lowering springs so the 60' times were in the 2.2 range now they are high 1.8's.

Bill

it all depends on your preferences. If you plan on making it a daily driver---i would say lowering springs becasue of the visual look of the stance.
If you want to make it a monster off the line at the track and maybe on the street----drag.
