Lug Nuts for 95 cobra rims

Well, the stock ones should work but they're ugly. I used a set of Gorilla lug nuts - they're chrome and they require a key (one key for all) to remove them. You want a set that fits 1/2" x 20 thread wheel studs. I have a set on my chrome Cobra R rims, and they look great.

If you want a splash of color, head to a hobby shop and buy a small bottle of model paint. I believe it's the "candy" colors that will let the chrome shine through under the paint. To be safe, talk to someone at the hobby shop & tell 'em what yu want to do. Basically, the paint makes it looks like you've got colored chrome lug nuts. Here's a photo of mine (colored red):

Interesting. The lug nuts that came on mine were tapered at the bottom, just like the new Gorilla lug nuts. But anyway, the Gorilla ones work wht the Cobra R rims. The key fits perfectly.

If there is a discount tire near you, they stock gorrillas for about 50 bucks for the whole set. I usually replace them every other year. I had a set laying around, but I gave them to a fellow stanger.

The gorillas are really skinny, and should fit great. They are splined.
