So

I got a set of 255/50/16 M/T ET Street drag radials yesterday. I am gettin ready to put them on the car and I want to know what psi you guys are runnin on the street and at the track.

Also what kinda tread life have you gotten out of them? The car is mostly a weekend car so it won't see that many miles. Just basically too and from the track and out to local car cruise ins and shows. I only paid $200 for both so I figure I got a good price on them. Cheaper than buying new regular radial tires for the car.

That is a great deal, I got a hook-up and paid $300 mounted and balanced.

I really don't use them on the street much, so I don't know how many miles you can get from them. When I do drive them on the street 20 psi works great, they are stable around corners and hook great. I haven’t had much luck with them at the track, but I blame my suspension for that. Good luck with them.

NO M/T's but I have Nittos. @ the track I run them @ 15 psi. On the street, normal street tire pessure, 32 psi.

20 is way to low for the street. After a period of time, they will were prematurely on the outsides.

They are one of the best tires out there. Are you smokin' them up real good before your launch. If not, that's the problem.Drop the pressure to 15 and roast 'em.

Thanks for the info guys.

As for the deal. I got them from a buddy of mine who made 1 pass with them and was worried he was going to break something. So they went from his house to the track, made a pass and then back home. They still have the nubs on them everywhere except right on the tread pattern.
