I'm wondering its a expensive mod and I would'nt want to screw myself in the long run. Will a 2003 GT pass the emissions test in MASS I was thinking of getting BBK ceramic LT's with a BBK Highflow catted H-Pipe but I would'nt want to do it if i cant get a inspection sticker afterwards,
Bruce i think you will pass as long as thier is cats on the car. The car is going to be a bit louder, but they haven't cracked down on the aftermarket exhaust rule yet. I can see if theirs anything i can do for you.

i think the only way to say for sure those LT's will pass is if they have a CARB number on them...i'm not sure, but SLP's might. Afterall how can they call them selves Street Legal Performance if thier *****s illegal?

Q: WHY ARE SLP LONG TUBE HEADERS NOT STREET LEGAL? A: THE LONG TUBE DESIGN REQUIRES THE CATALYTIC CONVERTERS TO BE MOVED FURTHER BACK ON THE CAR. RELOCATING THE CATS IS WHAT TAKES THESE HEADERS OUT OF THE STREET LEGAL CATEGORY. THIS IS A FEDERAL LAW AND NOT SIMPLY A 'LOCAL' LAW.
