ok puttin new combo together for a buddy...its a 95gt, 5 speed. The mods are the dreaded e303, l/t macs, cobra intake and y303 heads, all on a new shortblock. question is does this need 24# injectors/maf or are 19#'s ok? will there be noticable diff between stock inj/maf and 24#/75mm maf? would the upgrade provide a bang for the buck? Also, he has 3.08's now and is looking at 3.55's, its not a dd, but does make the occasional 200 mile trip, I suggested 3.73, dont mean to start a fight over the diff gears, but what would be the better choice given the above combo? Thanks

Id go w/ the #24 Injectors and upgrade the MAF at the sametime. As far as the gears 3.55's or 3.73's will be fine either one would suit that combo well. Some people will say 4.10's but it depends on his driving habbits.

The 19's are too little unless you really crank up the fuel pressure and I don't like that approach for fuel enrichment for many reasons.

With your plans you need the extra fuel from the larger inj's and don't forget a larger in tank fuel pump.

I'd go for the larger 77 or 80 ProM maf over the bullet.

I'd go for the 373's over the 355's for two reasons.

1) the difference in highway rpm's will be just over 100 more rpm's with the 373's so go for the extra zip they will give over the 355's

2) the combo you list will be shifting the power band up a bit which will make the taller gear seem more tame than it would on a stock or near stock combo
