I have been lookin all over for a Pro-M MAF. I finally found one last night. The only problem was that it was $429. That seems really high tp me. Would i be better off buying a Granatelli or a C&L? Also i wanted to advance my timing today before i go to the track on monday. is it 12-14* total timing or an advance. I know every car is a little different. But what do you guys advance urs to?

Take your time and don't be too quick to pull the trigger on just any old maf.

The maf is so important and they are not all the same.

Is it for your car and if it is, what is your combo as you give us no sig to work with?

I have MSD Blaster coil, 8.5mm MSD wires, MSD 6AL, BBK CAI, BBK equal length chrome headers (wrapped), BBK U/D pullies, magnaflow x-pipe, flowmaster cat back, ford racing 3.73's and BFG drag radials.
Not installed: BBK 65mm TB, and Aeromotive FPR. (waiting for MAF)
I wasnt sure between the 80mm, and the 75mm Pro-M

Thanks for the sig......kinda hard to help without it.

For your combo......If you are thinking about a ProM with 19lb inj's then your gains will be next to if not nothing over the stock maf.

The most gain of rwhp and for the buck spent is to wait until you have upped the air flow in your combo enough to warrant larger inj's and upgrade the inj's & maf together.

If you want hp in the 265 to 275rwhp range or more then the ProM caled for 19's would not compatable. At about that level you will need to move to larger inj's and that is the reason to stay with the stocker or you will have to recal the ProM maf.

Hope that helps and I'd go with the 80 over the bullet.
