Magnaflow rocks

Just got magnaflow x-pipe, 2 cats, and straight-thru mufflers put in today, and wow the sound is better than ever.. the X-pipe sounds awesome at 3000rpm + and I've gained a lot of low-end torque back, without any Tweecer changes.. Also, my clothes don't smell like gas..

but anyone looking to do a unique sound, a built 5.0 w/ cam + x-pipe is a really exotic sound.. I can't wait to dyno now !!

the shop took pics, I'll get them up soon, and I'll get some mpg's, but basically my car sounds almost identical to the one on magnaflows site, except a bit more top-end growl...

i just bought a magnaflow and put mine on yesterdai. but i have stock headers/ h pipe, its really quiet and mellow. i kinda wish it had more of a rumble. but i guess when i get a catted X pipe well see if it loudens up a bit, but i did feelt a small gain up top, feels like i lost torque tho down low,hehe, but butt dyno's are never accurate,hehe

So Magnaflow makes a SHORT X-Pipe for longtube headers then ?

I was in the same boat, then added catless Bassani X, and FMS headers. Big difference in sound and performance. If your like me, your gas mileage will suffer b/x you will always be getting on it because it sounds so good.

no I wish they did but I got it custom made, they took the magnaflow X and 2.5 mandrel bent stainless tubing and made welded it.. I love the mufflers tho, straight-thru's are not any louder than chambered IMHO.. great mellow sound till you hit it then she sounds awesome.. I actually drove home beside a viper last night and my car sounded better than his !!

did it get alot louder? ALso did anyone have problems gettin the tips to line up right, mine are ok now but it was kinda hard, but my tips are like loose, i tighted the hex bolt on the hanger and the 10in socket clamp bolt, but mine can still wiggle around with my hands, i guess its not suppose to be solid, After a day i saw that my hanger was comming out of the rubber but i fixed that so well see if i have anymore problems with that.
