I will keep this stuff in mind and have to try it out!

that looks awesome i have been thinking of maybe making my own after looking at this thread.i would love to make one with the newer mustang hood middle section.

what do they look like???Trust me it's alot of work so far!I was gonna make them and sell them....but to much time and i dont think i could make anything off them?????????I have about 6-8 more hours sanding and think it will go to primer?I also need to do a support at the back of the hood, plus close the cowl area in and then mount my gauges in there.I will have some pics up this weekend if i make it to work on it? I hope i do!I know i will tomorrow atleast for a few!peace

it's on the 2011 i seen one at work and got to thinking it could work the center section has a slight raise to it.i don't need mine to be too high plus i really worry about the quality of fiberglass hoods.

Thanks guys!I will prime it in black most likely?I'm going to cut oval holes or rectangler ones in the cowl but i also wanna mount mu oil pressure gauge back in there like my old hood was.If i was better at body work i probably wouldnt have as much time in it,and it might be worth it and have a profit if i did so to sell them??????peace

Went today and did what i thought would be the final before primer.Well i flipped the hood over and cut out some more of the underside,Then it got to hot in one spot and ****ed up the bondo so i need to touch up a spot now :Smiley 31: I will work on it tomorrow for almost all day and hopefully call it good and either prime or prime it on sunday.I also gonna do some supports and figure out the back of the cowl.Heres today pics before i messed up the bondo i had on it when i cut the underside more. Was an awsome day to work out side plus the bondo dried alot quicker.

Those wings look good on cars that require it. It's a function over form kind of idea and without a chute under it and a drivetrain that requires one, I don't think it's gonna look all that great. Just my .02

Johns car is going to be a BONDO BUGGY!! LMAO!

:p

Hey now! Easy there! :D

I know, its not an s351, but since it kind of resembles one I should have been more clear when I made that statement.

It's all good!

Well did more today, welded in support and made my own gauge holder.Test fitted it on the parts car, removed the pedals for my next up comming project.peace
