mass air computer

which is a better computer for the 5 speed cars the A9P or A9L for mass air conversion?

argument could go either way but I'd go with an A9L with a 5 speed

I have read that the a9p has a more agressive program to it for acceleration. Ihave been told that dyno tuners prefer the a9p over the a9L if you are going to chip it with a sct or similar.

I have run both when I had my droptop. I liked the a9p better.

thanks for the reply ,i will have to look for the a9p instead of the a9l that this guy is trying to sell locally .

i used an a9p for my conversion. the timing advance is a little different on the a9p, but you wouldn't notice the difference. both eec's respond well to tuning so either would work fine.
