The H&R springs should lower my car about 1.5", and the 87-93 Strange shocks/struts are 1.3" shorter than the ones for my year, which should make them match up nicely???

You don't NEED to put the fox struts (only struts are usually used from fox) on but it does help gain that extra .5" of bump travel back.

I don't have much experience with strange struts but they seem to be popular. In any case, I'd use the fox spec... As long as there's a bumpstop in play there shouldn't be too much trouble. You may want to check your total bump travel without the springs in so you know if the bumpstop is tall enough (if external).
