hey i have a chance to get my old 87 back. it's just a roller but still has all my suspension and cage in it problem is i need a motor and tranny. anyone in pittsburgh area have a short block or complete 5.0 or 5.8 (cheap) i still have the factory t5 from the car. i can get a 460 out of a truck complete for like 200. it runs and in good shape. would this be worth the hassle? i do wanna go carbed, because when i parted out the car i stripped the comp. i think carb would be cheaper at first. any ideas?

460, c6 some creative thinking and 150-200 shot of spray will roll! It is hard to get a 460 car to hook. That and the swap pieces are the only bad things about them.

ok just got back the car is mine again. he's willing to throw in a 460 and c6? sounds like that's whats going in. the motor is out of a truck if i changed the intake,carb and cam would it run decent?
