May have found a source for a 4" 90* elbow?

Some of us have converted over to the 90mm LMAF and have been building our own Cold Air kits. I tried a 45* elbow on my setup with the C&L pipe but it wouldn't work without cutting the fender.

I think I may have found a fairly cheap 4" elbow in a very unlikely source.

It doesn't seem to have the big flange a lot of plumbing type elbows have. Plus it appears pretty durable. I ordered one today. I'll let you know how it works out when I get it. I'm curious about how thick the plastic is. It's made for airflow movement (with sawdust), so it should work.

I just built mine out of some 4" heavy-truck exhaust piple. For $30.00, you can't really go wrong.

The elbow is $11 shipped and it shouldn't be heavy. But we'll see. I just got tired of going to auto performance site after another and seeing a stupid 90* elbow for $40+ - went on a search and finally found one for woodworking that didn't have a flange on it.

I haven't had time to put it on the car or take pics. But I did receive it and it's a quality piece, should work great!

It did have a "little" bit of the plastic edges in the tube that would cause turbulence, but it's a 4" pipe. I just reached in with an exacto and trimmed it right quick.

Finally got around to uploading the images. I cut about an inch off the collar of the elbow on each end. It helped make it a bit more compact. I also DID have to enlarge the opening in the inner fender a bit to make it work.

The elbow is great quality for $10. There was tiny bit to smooth out on the inside if you are picky about things. But hey, it beats $65 for some of the other ones I found.

It's twice the price roughly for their 4" but it is rubber. Do you have any of these? How flexible is the rubber? Can you just stretch it over the M/A meter and put a clamp on it? If so that would save a lot.
