I know I posted this in talk but I kind of need an answer today...due to me picking it up:

I am looking at a transmission package through a reputable tremec dealer. In the package they have a Mccloud clutch. Its a "super duty" clutch according to them but I have not heard much about it.

Any pros/cons? I can minus that clutch out of the package and by my own. I was planning on a Spec stage 3. The current clutch (Mccloud) is 299.99 but my friend told me that the Spec stage 3 is 340.00.

Any thoughts/advice on this? Thanks!

Stick with the mcleod. Sounds like the super heavy duty clutch from d&d performance. Its a mcleod dual friction disk with a FMS HD pressure plate or a king cobra pressure plate for an extra $10.

I have that mcleod DF disk but I ordered a blueprinted FMS HD pressure plate made to handle over 450hp and high rpm. Got it from nitrostangracing.com
