Dude ****in ban me then I said I use to own one FACT, I dont like them FACT, Most of my friends have them FACT, I have beat several 99+ Gts ( Bolt-on or not ) all in one long night of cruizin'... That night I was rollin with 4:10s and 4:10s only FACT

One of you asked for facts THERE THEY ARE..... I NEVER tried to bash the 2vs in this thread until some No Talent ass clowns started posting **** thats not true.... I even apologized for my 2v bashing or more like lack there of... go tell the people on this thread who been using "personal insults" this whole time, then talk to me later. The only reason I have "acted like a ass" on these forums is the response I get from the 2v-ers who talk out of there ass.

BTW Mustangkid... A Cobra IS a Mustang, and I will always love Mustangs, I sure as hell dont think Im better, I DO think my car is unique and NOT common like GTs.

He has acted like a tard to people on the 4.6L section on numerous occasions.
At least I try to be kind to the people here.

Well I can say this, a bullitt will beat a 01 cobra, it was in 5.0 mag. Im not very sure I could take a 99+ gt, and I CAN drive. So if you have more mods I think you could take em, ive seen a couple of gto's that have been owned to 99+ gt's. Oh yeah and the 01 cobra had some bolt-ons also, if you take the seats out and do some weight reduction it will pick up some. I used to have a 95 gt and those suckers are heavy.

Dude, I beat a 98 Cobra that had a x pipe and a magnaflow catback at the track last time I went. Does that make me think my GT is faster? No I know that his car could have taken mine with equal drivers. So you going around saying you beat all these 99+ GT's doesn't mean that your car is faster. When I beat that Cobra, I beat the driver. Not really the car. Like I said before, a 96-98 Cobra and a 99-04 GT are a drivers race with a advantage for the Cobra at higher speeds. And the GT has the Advantage off the line. This argument has been done over and over just search and you'll see the same thing as I just said, if you don't believe me.

Theres no reason to get bent out of shape because a next generation Mustang holds its own with yours. :SNSign:

That night we raced from a dig...First off the "hard to launch" thing is very true. With 255s in the rear and nothing but 4:10s I smoked 1st and 2nd. ALL the GTs that I raced would stay right next to me while I was doing this, then when I hit 3rd I was gone. The closest race that night with a full bolt-on 99 vert auto. That race was damn near the same except while i was smokin the tires he was pulling on me... when i hit 3rd he was like a car ahead, but I caught up and beat him. When I actually go to the track Ill be running better tires (275 DRs) and hopefully Ill get some traction. That reason alone should mean a worse ass raping for the GTs come track day.

So far no 99+ has proved its faster than me So thats why I think this way.... from factual (sp?) events. I WILL post results from the track (If I dont get banned before that.)

Its all in what you do to the car! Power to Weight is where it is at! You can put all the bolt ons in the world and without a professional dyno tune you won't get the most out of it! Trust me I have done about every bolt on you can throw at the 2v.....it has weaker heads than the 4v but with weight reduction and better exhaust/ intake assembly....it would pull like a champ! With all my bolt ons my car only put down 270hp and 305tq.....but with a race weight of 3250lbs....even supercharged cobra have to chase you down! Just my 2 cents!

Would you guys be happy with this... 2v FTW and 4v FTL. Considering Im the only 4v in here and thats why GTs are faster, because its your car and this svt_venom guy is saying that your car is slower than his, although hes basing it on factual events and not his opinion or what his friends say.

Can we just say its a driver race and someone close this thread. I havent raced any 99+ Gts with "Good Drivers." UMMm KAyyy

Cool Ill see you there You call me a Ricer though major ouch.... My first car was a '78 Trans Am 400ci/auto. Im a muscle car guy at heart, I work on my own cars (not lately I dont have a lift or jacks ) and ive been going to the track since I was a little kid. Thus I know what Im going to run when i go to the track, im also a good driver.... Seriously dude the only comment that got me in trouble in this thread is "Cobras are Faster than GTs" and thats the truth. Cobras have always been faster than GTs, Through the 94-98 produtions run Cobras had anywhere from 40-90 more horsepower, through the 99-04 production run Cobras made anywhere from 60-140 more horsepower. From my experiece 99+ GTs are slower than 96-98 Cobras IMHO. That really hurts that you would call me a ricer, you dont know me. I sure is hell aint no ******* either... ignorant people turn me into an *******. If you want to meet at the track thats cool, Ill see you there.


If you guys want you can all come out to the track that day and if I best below a 13.2, Ill buy everyone BEER. NO joke.... Im in a good mood right now and sure as hell dont feel like argue over this **** no more.

you keep saying the 40 hp difference but then everyone keeps telling you that the gts make a lot of torque down low and those year cobras dont. We are comparing 99+ Gts to 96-98 cobras not 96-98 Gts to 99/01 cobras. Stock for stock a 99-04 GT 5sp (not auto vert) vs a 96-98 Cobra 5sp will be about even with the same driver.

But anyways good luck at the track and I hope you do actually run a 13.2 or better because that would be real nice...but you never know what a car runs till you run it.
