Well I've been rolling along for 17 years with the grace from the Lord above.
I got my stang with two alarms under the hood, I guess whomever installed the second one didn't think of removing the first one, and I just left all that spaghetti there since I bought her.
So lately I got intermittent gremlins, stall,no start. I'm getting this cleaned up so I can eliminate that .
Hope a ( new to me) coil connector helps stop my issue. Removing the non op alarm,
And there is a kill switch I never use so that's outta there too.

The alarm blinks the lights but the chirp doesn't chirp no more. Its got power and ground so ill live with it as long as it stays running .

I put a Stanard brand ignition switch in mine over 10 years ago and still good to go.

Out of curiosity, how old is your TFI and have you ordered a replacement/spare? This sounds like the gremlin I chased in my 87 for a short time. I don't remember all of the stuff I dealt with now, but I remember finding a wire that I thought was loose, dealt with that, (among other things....) the car started again then died not too long afterward again. I finally replaced the TFI and it stopped giving me issues. Just a thought since I didn't see anyone mention it yet.

Cut the zip ties off and it only stalled twice, once in the parking garage and then just outside the garage.
The rest of the way home was good. New Motor craft switch should be here by Friday.

All of these TFI issues lately

I'm still running the same TFI that I got with the car. It and the distributor were swapped right over from stock block.
