Karthief laughed at me the other day when I said I had found a New-In-Box ignition switch in some old junk and it was better than finding money in an old coat.

These things have voodoo. If you have a spare, then yours won't eff up (unless the spare is Chinese then ur fkt).

The AutoZone one is duralast and probably Chinese, the motor craft coming from rockauto is made in Mexico.
Nothing American about strange these American parts.anymore

Fugging new switch is in, started right up,idled for five mins. then cut off.
Turned the key and she just cranks, turned the key off then turned to start and she started right back up.
Idle for like ten mins. No issues. I'm gonna take it out for a spin and see.
Also I'm picking up a new motor craft tfi, and swapping the master pro one which I believe is the issue now that I replaced the ign.switch.
This is turning me into a grumpy old man.

Fug fug fug. Installed new motor craft module and its worse then the master pro from oreilleys.
It won't even stay running in the garage. It didn't come with the grease so I used the one I got from staples, same one I used before.
I'm going out of my mind.

Take your EGR valve off and see what kind of condition that it's in. Check the diaphragm for leaks.

Just checked the egr diaphragm its good, haven't taken it off. But I did remove the motor craft tfi module and tested it,its fubared,.got another coming tommarow, for :poo:s and giggles I put the master pro back on and she idles great again.

I knew I'd seen something somewhere:

Stangnet TV FTW! :D

Hope it helps.

Nice video, but I'm not experiencing those symptoms. With mine it starts and idles great and while I'm driving she shuts off with no warrning,no stumble, just shuts off.
Wife will drive me to work tommarow, ill try and get a coworker to drive me to pick up new tfi and drop me off to physical therapy.
Its so much fun daily driving a 31 year old car.

This is the next TFI that I buy:

It's a California company founded in Australia. I've looked through all of the information I could find and there's no mention of China. O_o

Well I stayed home today so I could put the new TFI in when it came .
I called and cause of some bull:poo: it ain't coming in till tomorrow.
Since I'm home I decided to pull codes even though no light on.

Koeo I got 11 that's good
Then a 87 fuel pump circuit faut?

Koer I got a 4 then idle went up and came down
Then I got 21 cooling temp sensor/ECT out of range.
And a 46 thermactor air not bypassed? Dis system failure?

So what now??

So General I don't think any code I have is the cause of my stalling issue, or should I say the cause of me losing my mind.
What to do?
