Met the girl of my dreams today

You've got a very good point, Fritz; and that thought crossed my mind as well - when I finally got around to reading the story that went with the pics. :D

Speaking of pic's Mr BDT....... you might give some thought to getting your lady-faire a new vest. If the girl takes a deep breath that sucker's gonna explode!

When that thought crossed my mind; it was immediately followed by the same thought that Fritz had; without any set-up from Dan. For a minute there; I was gonna ask if you were at Party Cove! :p

EDIT: Oh, good Lord! I just went back for a last glance and realized that she's pointing at them :jaw: Dude, I don't think that particular pic was meant to be posted :chair:

Y'know what, Fritz..... you and I (and Dan, and Ben, and "the Football" and all the other mid-life guys that are lurking and saying nothing) area bunch of Old Farts and we're too old for this stuff!

Doesn't mean we're gonna stop, mind you. I've just "made it official" that we're too old. You can ignore what I just said and go back to staring now; that's what I'm gonna do..........

OH Andy!

You should know better than to get the old men riled up. :D

Have you two gone camping yet? A nice campfire is a great setting. Pack up the ranger, put the trailer on the back and find a nice state park with camping. Pitch a tent and get the lady an air mattress! (No offense if she likes it rough) (That wasn't meant like that, I was referring to roughing it, like on the ground)

I have to use an air mattress or my back reminds me that it's broken in the morning.

Wow i leave for a little bit and you guys run amok on this thread. :nono: We did go to party cove, but we did not do any amoking :( We havent gone camping yet, but we will trust me. But i prefer putting the tent and the air bed in the bed of the truck, so dirt and bugs don't get in.

I knew you guys would like that last picture. I have several like that but i thought i would just tease you guys a little. Clearly it worked. I know she is not afraid to use those things, she pointed them right at me one day and I forgot my name, birthday, age, and everything i learned in college. I just now remembered where i live. I am still working on getting back the stuff i learned in college. It was like a DOD sweep went over my head and everything is lost.

Today we are driving up to Manhattan to watch a graduation and then Sunday we are walking across the stage. We wanted to go to the lake but it doesn't look like thats going to happen this weekend. Well i better shower and go pick up my lady, talk to you guys in a day or so.

BTW: I am selling my laptop from college if any of you guys want it. Gotta buy that ring :nice: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...MESE:IT&viewitem=&item=250114216759&rd=1&rd=1

HEY NOW! BDT has discovered the cause of senile dementia in men! Now if I can just remember what the hell it was!

btw BDT, you left out one symptom, but that's the senility ------>

:bang: My dad's a dirty old guy...

ew!

Yep; it's a wonder you don't have 12,639 siblings.

Which reminds me; you signed the "big" Mother's Day card along with Jessie and Matt (In case you thought I forgot). And you guys got her a couple of DVD's.

Since Matt and I did the shopping, we got creative. Flowers? Too Easy. Candy? Too Easy. Yet another bathrobe? Waaaay too easy! Remember how mom likes "Movie Classics" and Musicals? Well, now her DVD library includes "Holiday" (another Cary Grant/Katherine Hepburn comedy) and "West Side Story".

OBTW; we went over to "the other High School" (Cibola still doesn't count, it's not 20-yrs-old yet) last night to watch "Grease". Cody Damron played Roger; and did very well. When his songs or dance scenes came up; it was quite obvious that he has quite a follwing amongst the females over there. And he ended up dancing for Jessie when the cast would come out into the audience for a scene. I don't believe your sister is presently a "favorite friend" amongst the Kofa High girls right now. All told, it was good; other than that (only) one of "Rizzo's" songs (she just kept going flat; fortunately it wasn't her "big" song) the desperate need for wireless mic's for the singers was obvious. All in all, I think Mom had a good time.

Now that the "family letter" is done....

That wasn't you doing the teasing (I'm not that blind); you just took the pictures. :p

Yep, been there, done that (or had it done to me). Hate to tell ya, but you're definitely toast :owned:

You didn't live in Kansas as a 20-nothing-year-old?

Waitaminute, that can't be right.......I didn't live in Kansas as a 20-nothing-yr-old; and I have the very same problem that Andy has

Sorry, man; I have no clue

EDIT: Okay; time to implement a new plan.
FIRST: We rig the NY lottery so that you win like $250 million. (Hey it's New York; just like Chicago, anything can be "rigged")
SECOND: You divide your new-found spare time between restoring a whole bunch of stable-mates for Sally and riding around in the new LaFrance you bought for your VFD.
THIRD: You roll up in the aforementioned big red truck and knock on the door of that CN/DON/whatever that claims she's too old for you. (You know she just thought that up as an excuse; which means that she's been thinking about it, right?)
FOURTH: She's swept off her feet (firefighters do that to nurses around here - even ER nurses); and you guys settle down with all her live-at-home kids and a kitten that likes to attack things moving around under bedsheets. :nice:

Well, maybe leave out the kitten........... :rlaugh:

:rlaugh:
THAT staff nurse (works 3-11) is a little mature to be swept off her feet by someone in a flashy red truck!

Her child is grown, married and has a daughter of her own.

With $250 million, I doubt I'd need ANYTHING else to sweep with. (or sleep with! ) (Who says money can't buy you love? )

BTW - I have concluded since I haven't been hit with the breast-stunner in several years, then my CRS is a result of toxic levels of testosterone. This also explains why I go insane every night I'm in this estrogen soaked environment and why I need a wheelbarrow.:flag:

The urge is very tempting to shout out "You big Dummy!"

Remember that my better half is older than you and that our oldest is married, divorced (no grandkids yet, thankfully) and wears combat boots for a living. Yet, after this past weekends' application of 2 DVD's and a $900 washing machine ( at that last part; but even I'm impressed with this sucker); I'm barely walkin'. And the closest I (intentionally) get to a burning building is crawling an attic in the summertime.

With $250 million, I doubt I'd need ANYTHING else to sweep with. (or sleep with! ) (Who says money can't buy you love? )
I say so! Lust maybe, even probably....in fact, I once half-wrote a parody of a Kenny Chesney song called "She Thinks My Checkbook's Sexy". But love? I seriously doubt it. Else I'd be just as single as you and Sue would have taken up with one of the 2 Doc's or the lawyer that had been sniffing around her since before we married.

Remember what the hero of this thread has been typing about? The skinny chick seemed to be happiest with Andy when he was spending money (on her). Miss Heather, on the other hand, said that they needed to save up for headers for his Mustang!

Now that I can almost buy into! Since I quit doing the "industrial electric" gig a long time ago, I haven't had anybody try to "light up my life" with any 480 three-phase in years! It's even been 12-13 years since I took that 277V hit while working at the hospital; and today I..... uh....... what were we talking about?

Oh yeah! If you've been swept off your feet by a firefighter; it better be a she and look like one of those "FDNY babes" from the TV show "Third Watch"!

Oh, I'm not sayin' I can't sweep her off her feet. Just that I have to be very, very circumspect because of the work situation. Almost like high school when we had our buddies and their girlfriends snoopin and a sniffin for us, remember? "Hey Sue, whaddya think about Jimmy, ya he's a redneck, but he REALLY likes you...................." "Hey Jimmy, Sue thinks your a dork, a cute dork, but a dork none the less. Oh and ya, she'll go to the drive-in with you Friday!"

Just gotta bide my time. Besides, I'm not sure she said I was too young, that's what I was told that she said and that was three or four years ago.

Man o man omanomanomanoman! Are you ever getting senile! And YOU'RE younger than me!
I was refering to MYSELF as BOTH the RN and the Firefighter!
Get it? That's why I keep falling down? I've been "sweeping" myself off of my feet!:nonono:
a joke is not as funny when you have to explain it!
