I have a 2000 Mustang V6 with auto transmission with 90,000 miles on it and NO mods done.
Issue:
The engine gives me a constant Code of 0301 - Missing in # 1 cylinder. (Attached in a picture of the current spark plug that is it) with about 15,000 miles on them
I have the EGR Valve Vacuum unplugged because when it is hooked up, I get a very bad miss (under load between 1200-1500 rpms)
This is what I replaced.
New Accel Coil - The factory one had a short in it.
Cleaned the Mass Airflow Sensor
New PCV Valve
New EGR Valve
New Spark Plug wires
New Air Filter
New Camshaft Syncronizer
