Along these lines, the Lotus Elise which is one of the best production track cars in the world, comes from the factory with a Toyota 4-banger.
So the motor changes the name of the car? I wasn't aware...So I guess all those Big block drag cars are technically Vans and trucks. Someone should really tell them

No it's not, and yes he does.
I could car less if there is a gm motor under the hood. Close the hood and all you see Is mustang.
So who here would go up to a guy at a car show with a sick as hell all steel '32 Highboy roadster with a SBC as a power plant, give him a ration of Siht for it not being Ford Powered? I doubt anyone.
my bad, my memory was a little off, so i dug out the time slips,[email protected] 1.67 60ft being the best pass on 4-3-98 in cool april weather. and i dont appricate being called a liar with the bs remark.
I also think it was cool when i first started with mods on my 87 GT, it had k&n air filter, underdrive pulleys, shorty headers, h-pipe, cat back, 3:55 gears, and 1.7 cobra roller rockers.... every think else stock!!! heads, intake, cam, tb, inj., clutch. ect. it run 12.75@105 and with a 150 shot, 11.68@114 and all used parts were under $1000. now thats a bang for the buck..

I hot rod is a hot rod no matter what it is powered with.
You're wearin' your "mustang undies" again, Aren't you Wythors?
Actually....I zip right on by when I see chevy powered hot rods. They're so common place. Now, when I see an actual Ford Powered Rod, I'll stop and take a peek.

I'd like to see this sub forum, so threads like this get segregated away from the stuff i care to read about. Lump all the brand swap drama threads in one area. Sounds like a plan![]()
^^This.^^
Brand loyalty aside, mix breed stuff doesn't belong in the Fox sections of the board. I realize that there are people out there who want to do this kind of thing, and that's fine. Give them their own section of the board. If you look at the description for this part of the forum, it says "General discussion for the Fox 5.0 Liter Mustang from Ford."
people post rediculous BS donks, and junk fox bodies in here, which is alot more offensive than a fast, clean, fox body with a poweplant that isnt a ford

This is very true. But, I think we need to have a separate section on the board that is dedicated to breed swaps, if for no other reason than to just mitigate the tard fights that result when a bastard car gets posted in here. KnowwhaddI'msayin?![]()
i think they should just call it fox talk, and tell people, if you dont like it, dont click the link.

Example. Some of the LS guys may figure out suspension tips for the track that can apply to any foxbody with a small block. So why shortchange ourselves on more good info? Thats not a rhetorical question.
