Modified Automatic Trans Handles

Since I am in the business of modifications I am looking into changing out the auto selector T-handle for something more personalized. I had a Mr. Gasket Piston installed on a Hurst Quarter Stick in my old 69 Sportsroof and I was looking into doing something similar with this new 05. I am going to take the "bolt-on" approach first and see if it will be something that can be easily done again within minutes or switching out the stock selector all together. Let me know what you folks think so I can take some wishes into account.

I'd like to see one like the current handle but with the portion under the
button removed. Like the old hurst shifters.

I would like to see like the B&M t handle for he Megashifter OR a mock manual tranny with boot. MJainly remove the wide ass shifter base just below the handle . IMHO it currently looks cheap.

I might bring up the idea to my fabricator when I take my car in for some custom work this next week.
