more boost needs a tune?

id like to swap the pulley on my sc but dont have the money to go back to the dyno tuner. will the maf be able to compensate for the 2-3lbs of boost extra?
im making 403hp and id like to get up to 435-440 but dont want tuning issues. if the maf cant handle it then ill have to wait till next year to swap the pulley.
