OK-here's the deal: Car goes back in in two weeks for a Vortech Supercharger with Intercooler, Long Tubes, and A-Piller Gauges (Air/Fuel, Fuel Pressure, Boost/Vac).

The way I look at it is; it's, probably a lot less trouble than a mistress on the side, eh?

What else do I need/want to do???????

This thing is going to "Infinity and beyond...."

Here's what I got:

2001 Laser Red, Convertible, Cobra
Dynomax Cat Back
Magnaflow X
Kenny Brown Extreme Subframes
MAC CAI
Saleen Light Bar
Saleen Body Kit
285/35/18 all around Dunlop Sport 9000
18 X 9.5 Chrome Cobra R 2000 Wheels
Eibach Lowering Springs
Bilstein Shocks
Diablo Chip
14 inch Cross drilled, slotted and ventilated rotor up front, 11.25 matching rear
6-piston Baer calipers front

You might wanna think about forged internals. Also your better think about building up that rearend also. On a hard launch/shift your IRS will be just waiting to pop!

he's got IRS still it looks like, they don't have UCA's or LCA's and don't use Panhard bars, or torque arms, etc...and he's already got Bilstein struts...

You need some gears...with the blower I'd go with some 3.73's...

#1, save your money and skip on the a/f guage...

Some better tires out back might help with traction.

Build up the rear; a heavy-duty rear diff brace with some aluminum bushings wouldn’t hurt ether.

The hop is bad, avoid it at all costs!

In researching my own future supercharger buy, I have learned that our stock internals don't hold up to that much power for very long. Forged pistons, rods etc... then gears.

And if you're like me, you'll never be done...

Don't even bother with the IRS. Just go get a solid axle so you can do some 6500 rpm launches

Forged lower + solid axle. After those are done, get the car to stick and do some suspension mods or work on trying to lighten it up a bit.

The only reason you'd want to go with a solid axle is if the car's primary purpose is straight-line racing. IRS handles better in the corners and rides better on the street. If its more than a drag car, I'd keep the IRS but just strengthen it... Depends on what you want the car best suited for.
