thats funny b/c it's so true!!

i have used my credit cards for some of my build. but i have also been buying parts since september of 2006 for this build. i have spent over 10K on the whole build, including drivetrain and i have used my credit card for about $4000 of it. i only use the card when i find a great deal that will not last. i pay cash for all the other stuff.

i dont make a ton of money either. i work on cars for a living so i do most ofthe labor myself. i dont have a house payment so i can afford more car stuff right now. i just wish i could get rid of the $1200 a month in car payments i have

These are the header gaskets that I used on my GT. Turbo cars have alot of back pressure....and I had only one blow out (I didnt retighten the bolts ...two bolts IN A ROW were hand loose and it didnt blow....somehow it backed out again (not using locking bolts FTW!) and this time it started leaking.
I was very impressed with it not leaking the first time, so I bought another set and just replaced the one side....never had another problem and I highly recommend them. If they will hold up to my GT....they will hold up to a S/C car no problem, just use good bolts!

Percy's dead soft. I bought mine from summitracing...but you cant link with their site, so I found another place that sells them.

With my Bassani headers i just used the ford racing gaskets. For the bolts, I used the stock studs, They work great!
