i have a 92 gt. headers,exhaust,gears,alum d/s,shifter,pulleys.

i have never run my car at the track, but it seems slow for what i have done. will a 65mm tbi, bigger maf, and fuel psi reg help?
or should i save up for heads/cam/intake.

i would like to run 13.8-14.0 without having to do much more cause i drive it 70 miles a day. i may have to get a back up to commute in.

The throttle body, maf and injectors will make a difference, but you should save for the heads cam and intake. Your cam is your main determining factor for horsepower.

The money spent on a maf and t/b, you could get an intake manifold, and that would give you more hp than the others. I would recommend the fpr so you can mess w/fp to see if you can squeeze out any more hp.

i was thinking that since i opened up the exhaust, that maybe i need to open up the air intake more too, all i have is a k/n panel filter. Can i hit 14.0's without internals or nitrous?

I would say that u should throw those ported e7's on there with a nice mild cam, an intake....the adjustable fuel pressure reg. at this point would be a waste of your money....if you increase the fp the computer adjusts inj. pulse width and duration accordingly....so there is really no gain on a stock fuel system. even a mild hci will get you to 14.0 with a good driver and the mods you have

modular 2v, i might be interested. I got them from a friend of mine who says he had them on his 91 lx. it had a crower cam, the e7's and long tubes, trick flow intake. he said he ran a 12.7 on drag radials. they have stock valves, but have been ported, i wont be on this thread during the weekend cause i don't have internet at home, but will talk to you monday about it, thanks

forced induction?

i was wondering, how about a 6 psi supercharger? i have 150,000 miles onit. I have heard the stock bottom end won't handle it, but 6 psi isn't much. is it not a good idea or what? cause 1700 bucks would be a easier way to hp without tearing the motor apart. then when it blows up, i can rebuild it with better heads, internals, e cam , etc.

Personally I would have good foundation before the blower. With what you have already, a good MAF a throttle body will definetely help. With those ported E7s and since you have the intake off have the lower ported and you will get a really nice increase. For less than the 1700 and you get fresh heads and can save up for that HCI and shortblock. I wish I had your dilemma!

Oh I agree that it will handle the 6 psi no problem. Wouldn't that 6 psi be worth alot more if the other stuff was done first?
