What would you guys recommend on motor mounts in a 67 fastback with 351w? I have found previous posts which reveal that 67's are an odd year and have different body mounts compared to 66's and 68's. What would be the best(fit/strength) mount to use? Ron Morris, TCP, or get OEM mounts that allow the motor to sit as low as possible (I believe 65 or 66 convertible). I will call RM and TCP Monday to see if either allow for anymore hood clearence. The efi intake looks like it is going to be tough to fit in even going with a 2.5-3" cowl hood.

I'm not sure the R M mounts would work. The plates that bolt to the frame will be at a wierd angle. I'm thinking of making my own. Use the top half of the stock motor mount, cut the rubber, and weld a tube that will take a urethane bushing. Maybe a rear spring shackle. Cut my own trangles for the frame and drill them to put the motor were it needs to be. If he tells you they will bolt up and work as designed, I'd be wary.

Try this:

Or something like it on stock mounts.
