Well bought an ignition worth having finally... hoping it is money well spent. I haven't seen many 94-95's with the box.... well in person...

If you have one of these boxes, where did you mount it, how, and is it still holding up working good there? Has anyone put it like in the glove box per say? i think that would be neat...

thanks for looking, help me out with pics etc. if you can.

Mine is currently by the air filter.

Use to be over the booster.

It was srewed to that plastic firewall cover. The brace was purchased from Steeda for $89 back in 1994. It was orginally black.

My 94 had a box on a 'custom' bracket, under the MAF area. But the box looked like crap and I didnt want to rely on it, so I removed it.

Were I buying new, I would mount the box under the seat. That is just me - obviously Joe's held up very well in the heat.

Yes, those are the rubber spacers that come with the unit. The surface isn't flush so those spacers do the trick.

well i have ruled it down to there or the glove box........ kinda like the idea of it being in the interior..... i am gonna put a msd rpm selector switch on it for the rev limiter instead of buying pills, and i think it would be nice to have it inside so it can be adjusted

I had my mallory digital ignition in the glove box since it had a BUNCH of controls you could change by hitting buttons on the box itself. I love the location and the features but i just kept having problems with the setup. So i sent it back for some long tubes.

Nah i never took any pics. Just take the glove box down(only about 3 or 4 screws) and its easy to work with. I just screwed it right into the plastic.

I only put it inside since it had the controls on the unit itself. I actually like the look of "seeing" the ignition under the hood. Some guys have heat problems but i havent. My hood has vents at the back (cobra r svo) so maybe thats a big help cooling the area at the firewall.

Mines installed in the drivers side fenderwell, right in front of the wiper fluid resovoir. Totally stealth and it stays cool too.
