i have a 1992 mustang 5.0 that was totaled because of an accident. i was it in the quarter panel and said it would cost more to repair then replace. i was looking at some engine swaps and it looks worth it. i want to get a newer vt like a 99 and throw in my eninge and tranney even my rear end but of course swap out the 4 lug for 5 and upgrade brakes. i have everything in one car ready to be swaped. is it hard to do? also how much in labor do you think it will cost? will i need any more parts to do the swap? and where can i buy new motor mounts i know i need that but will a 94-95 5.0 motor mounts work?

well it will be expensive if you dont do it yourself, i havent done it but the major stuff you need you already have. but the major concern is that if you have to go through emmisions you most likely wont pass. especially since on all cars 96 and newer to run emmisions all they do is plug a computer into your OBDII and check it and send you off.
