I was going to try to locate some fasteners, but I can't really find and 10.9 flange bolts longer than 110mm. You can find standard hex bolts longer than than. However, I've never been a fan of using standard hex bolts and washers where the factory used flange bolts and nuts.

Agreed. I found some bolts on ebay, but not flanged. MM supplies washers to put under the head, so i'm not too worried about it. I'm going to sire brush up the control arm hardware and reuse it. I don't want to stick the rusty bolts in there without at least cleaning them up and throwing a coat of paint on it.

I wish MM supplied more hardware with their kits vs having you reuse old stuff.

About 15 years ago when l was redoing the suspension on my car l found some Ford Place named Greens, got all brand new Flanged Suspension Bolts that were even in Ford boxes, really lucked out finding that stuff!

Got myself an old Ford reman power steering pump. It’s the remote reservior style similar to the stock pump. This should work with the hydroboost as I’ll mount the SN95 remote fill tank. I actually think it's a 1990 Ford Escort pump. F0FZ-3A674-BX

In my quest for new hardware, or cleaning up some hardware, I was trying to clean up the speed clips on the car that hold various things in place like AC condenser, the power steering tube, fenders, etc. Mine were all rusted and/or grimey.

So i hop on Mcmaster-Carr and find some very similar hardware. Ford used 2 sizes mostly in the bay. A long and a short. Both are 8mm threaded.

Also decided to just grab a pack of new 8mm bolts

In case you are wondering, the part numbers are

95210A150 - short barrel nut speed clip
95210A175 - long barrel nut speed clip
93474A213 - Zinc plated grade 10.9 screws

I also decided to try something a little fancy for the fender hold down bolts.

92703A167 - M6 Stainless Torx flat head screw
98472A350 - Stainless countersunk washer

So back to squaring. Moved the stands around and got my clearance. Using 4 plumb bobs and 4 tape measures, it was pretty easy to get everything setup to measure. Didn’t take much tweaking and even with my sectioned frame rail and moving the k member holes back, I managed to get it all within 1/16”. Was almost too easy. Anyway, I member is torqued to spec 89 ft-lbs front, 72 ft-LBs rear bolts

wish I took the trans Jack out of this shot

decided to temporarily hang the a arms, mostly to get them out of my way. Discovered I couldn’t find the prothane grease to lube the bushings so the need to come out anyway. Just mocked up for now

started cleaning up the 03/04 cobra rack to get this mounted as well. I need shorter hardware anyway so I need to see what sizes I need

here’s where I stopped for today. Need to get the spindles temp mounted on here, and put the coil overs back in. I need to drill and run the new mounts for fuel and brake lines so I need to see where my interferences are. These all need to come back out before final install anyway, but nice to start reducing my piles of car parts scattered around.

I bought the same trans jack.

FYI.... I researched until I found this a while back. I went on the Corvette and FFR forums to see what they used for bushing grease. This was the only acceptable grease to equal prothane or energy suspension grease. I've been using it for a while now. It's dielectric, food grade, and meets all normal specs. I actually got a small tube of it at harbor freight.

I will need a tube at some point for the various zerk fittings on the MM parts. For now I just got a little 1-time use pack of the prothane grease. I just need some install lube really. That should be here this weekend along with my rack bolts and I can torque all this up.

Going to try feeding the dash harness back in today too. I'd like to get that back in, install the hydroboost and hang the pedals, steering column and dash frame.

You have no idea how nice a feeling it is for parts to start to go back on the car and various piles that have been in my way for over a year are starting to go back.

I bet it is Mike. Can’t wait to see all that stuff back in the car. Are you planning on having it ready for spring?

Will the hydro boost conversion not work with the standard PS pump? I mean as far as having the reservoir, pump all in one?
