Yeah there is a boneyard about 1 mile from my work i'm going to go check out next week. They never have fox mustangs (esp 5.0's) but they have a few V6 Sn95's. I figure next week i'll take a trip over there and see if they have what I need.

You wouldn't happen to know what size flare wrench i need for the fitting on the prop valve of the Sn95 hard line would you?

So i went to machine the SUMMIT logo off the rear girdle and our CNC mill is busted But that got me thinking. We have a Laser Engraver here. Maybe I could laser etch the running pony logo on the flat part as well after i machine SUMMITT off?? But then again that's going to be a lot of work tracking down a photo, converting it, and programming the etcher for something nobody will ever see

Okay. I put *most* of the interior back in today. I did the cleaned carpet, the controversial headliner, the rear seat and the rear plastics.

Trimmed and mounted the shifter seal

Here's the cleaned carpet. I was gonna buy new but a powerwash, shampoo and good vac got it nice and shaggy again!

Ignore the red buckles. I haven't found a black pair yet

Reinstalled the rear seat again, the rear plastics and my black shoulder belts finally.

The speaker grills are painted...that's why the constast is so different in a photo

Rear plastics and shade reinstalled. Not going to reinstall the dash until the very end so i can clean up some wiring behind it.

And now for the headliner nobody likes! Honestly, the pictures make it look more dramatic than in real life. The stripes are not as vibrant. They are subtle. It also looks purple in the pics. It is not. It's black felt with subtle dark gray stripes in it.

For $35 in material (clotch and 3M super 90 adhesive) it's much better than a $200 headliner kit from 5.0 resto.

Hardest part was triming the sunroof hole. But i got it done. Didn't even need adhesive. The seal holds it plenty firm.

A-pillar trim is not in place because I'm rewiring my pillar gauges

i know you can import images for things like logos for title blocks and such. i dont know if that will translate into a dimensionable object or not, but you might could look it up? seems like the only way to get certain symbols/logos into prints for different parts and such. mastercam is a much less powerful drafting tool and it has something so.....

I'll check it out on monday and see what i can figure out. I don't think i'm going to put a whole lot of effort into it because on a lowered Mustang, you are never going to see it anyway

Now if it was a more visible part, i'd totally put more effort into it

Cool.

I did some more cleaning/prep today. Nothing major. Washed and shampooed the rear hatch carpet and reinstalled. Even have the "hard to find" sunroof bag still.

Granted i never use it

I also cleaned up my exhaust tips and pipes. This is a 10-year old FLowmaster cat-back, (granted 6 years the car sat) so all you rustmaster people can suck it!

I got these cheap. But not sure if i want to use them. Might be too much black on a black car. I think i kinda like the clear style ones on a black Mustang

I also need to work this into the install. Autometer shift light i got. Unfortunately it came as a package with the boost gauge. I don't have a blower (yet) so it'll have to sit in the box for a couple years unless I install it for the vacuum gauge?

Well those particular seats came out of an 04 GT, but they are the same style 99-04 pretty much. I have the matching dark charcoal leather GT front seats too.

These are dark charcoal. In the bright sunshine you can see a color difference, but in the car if matches close enough where the difference looks good.

If you want true black, 94-98 seats are what you want.

I think page 1 to 3 is where i showed pics on the seat install

what you have is exactly what i need for my car what can i expect to pay at the junkyard ?i have the front seats in that color but newer than 04 year.

I paid $100, but it was a private sale. Unsure what a boneyard would want for it. I'd look around and see if any 99-04 guys in your area yanked them out and want to ditch them and compare. All you need is the seat bottom and the two square seatbacks.

were you able to use your seatbelts i notice the holes for the center seatbelts and no belts peaking out.i plan on welding the top shoulder belt brackets and would like to make use of the belts.

I could use the belts, but i just don't have them. I took the rear seatbelts out when i did my black interior swap and was looking for a set of 79-83 black rear lap belts. I've missed a few auctions on ebay for some and then just stopped caring. Nobody will EVER sit in my backseat. It's just for show, so I'm not all that concerned with putting a set of belts in back there.

Well, i removed my A-pillar gauges in order to rewire them. But now i think i'm going to ditch them all together. I'll prob relocate the gauges under the radio or somewhere low-key.

I figure by ditching the A-pillar gauges and going with a small pen-light shift light (see post #421) i'll get rid of some of the "boy-racer" look when i was a teenager. I'd rather have a clean non-racerish interior.

Guess that means i need to track down a new A-pillar trim peice since mine is hacked up.

I also need to find a nice radio bezel with 3 gauges. I think i'll stick the boost gauge in and use it for the vacuum feature. Nobody will ever see it so i'm not ashamed to toss it in now

Got the bellhousing today! Thanks man! you rock!

I am off from work until May 22nd til June 1st. I hope i can bang stuff out! My brake fittings should be here tomorrow so i can install that 1 brake line i need and bleed the brakes.

Goal is to have the engine started and move on it's own power by June 1st. Lets see if i can do it.

Also got my fluids all ready to go (i'm a Castrol guy if you cant tell)

What do these cars take for diff fluid weight again? Been a while

Tracked down someplace that sold brake fittings. Had to track down an elusive m12x 1.0 bubble flare fitting. I ordered up some extra 3/8 and 7/16 IF fittings since i had to pay $9 S/H for a $3 part anyway

SO now i can bend up my left front brake line and adapt it into my SN95 prop valve for an OEM look
