Now, while I get that the work youre doing is tedious and dirty, I do miss having something to work on like that, and envy your time with it. I spent dumb amounts of time and money on a 351W powered Ford Ranger winter beater the last couple years just for the sake of having a hot rod project. It was fun having a vehicle I could tear apart and not feel bad about it. My Mustang is on the border of too nice to dick around with, plus I genuinely like it the way it is. I cut up the stock hood to make a heat extractor style out of it, but went about it all wrong. @madmike1157 ). But since my garage isnt heated, I havent started version two yet. I have some exhaust changes I am going to make when it warms up outside, but the wife and I have been aggressively paying off our debts so the big ticket projects are on hold for the next couple years.
