My 89 Lx Get Pick Up In 2 Hours

Just got a call from the delivery guy, say he will pick up the car in 2 hours ( 6pm ), I hope everything arite, and it will arried to my home on monday, hope the car travel safe . H/C and build tranny are ready as soon it get here, mabe super charger it, I still want to keep the automatic transmission . Because I want DD this car on traffic day. And my gf can drive it... ( dont tell me why I dont teach my gf how to drive manual... we all know, no way in heck you want your gf to mess up that clutch and transmission of your baby ).

lol, i am talking about the king cobra clutch brand, its a bit heavy for her foot. I think the best car to learn drive a manual is those honda civic, soft clutch and almost bullet proof transmission.

king cobra clutch does not require much more effort then the factory clutch.
and I daily drove mine, up until a drunk destroyed it.

No issue at all in traffic.

I will post some pix, she not perfect, but I had to save her ( Bought from a friends that in need the moneys, and was selling to a guy that gonna put in a LSX motor and turn into drag racing ), I had love for this fox and hate it to going to a wrong abused owner, so I bought she, she might need a touch up paint job here and there, but let see how she is when she get here.

I have king cobra clutch on my 98 gt, and its HARD to push in, and believe me I drove some racing heavy clutch before. Anyway why 2010 ZR1 vett clutch is like butter , so soft. but dam its fast, love to own one of those one day.

Happy wrenching!! You might rethink not having her know how to drive a manual tranny. Who is going to drive if you have a Tim Allen moment and need the ER or Urgent Care? Just as bad, what if you need her to drive home from a party? A supercharger and too many beers are a bad combo. I figure my spouse does not have to be perfect, just proficient. A burn out and 1/4 mile trip is probably harder on things than some extra careful clutch slippage. Maybe she will overlook your parts budget of she likes going fast too. car look bad then I though , could get a new paint job, their is no rust any where, which is good thing. interior is clean, engine is a bit dirty, could use a bit of degrease and change out few ricer crap ( aluminum sleeve on coolant hose ), I dont expect much, since I dint pay much for it, what it sit right now is worth more then what I pay around here. Beside 25 year old car alway need some work.

here thing they done to the car, it show 50k miles, I think its around 150k miles,

Engine and transmission having stock rebuild ( 2000 miles ago ), having receipt, which is good thing

no engine oil leak, under is dirty but dry , AC is brand new blow cold, heat is blow hot,

aluminum driveshaft , 4:10 ford racing gear ( royal purple oil ) , must be the gear packet from LMR

body is straight, no sign of accident, the molding on left side is fall off, but include with the car, the trunk having hard time lock ( I dont know what happens here ). Good tires all around, all new motorsport complete suspension , drive smooth.

clean title, come with original key. the seller already over night me the title and I already register it, ANTIQUE TAG !!! lol 89 just turn 25 year .
