Man that sounds so nice. I hope mine might sound like that someday, probably not, but I will hope nonetheless.

Well, it took all dang day long. A burned/replaced/insulated clutch cable, fuel leaks...bled brakes for hours...and a number of smaller odds and ends.. Then FINALLY it goes. Barely. Lol..

Front end was so out of alignment it squealed going down the road, so he made it short. If I'd known, I would've put a tape on it and dialed it in closer beforehand. Also needs some tuning, however, we needed to go.

But- went under it's own power. That was today's goal.

Me too that or a GT. Either way I'd be happy. Word on the street is there's a coupe nearby for 600 bucks that doesn't look terrible. I may look into it tomorrow if it's still around.

There's an 85 GT... I posted a craigslist thread on it a few weeks ago. It was still for sale a few days ago. Asking price was $2300..but it is a ttop car.

There is also a coupe my buddy was telling me about. It's being advertised as an 83 but has an 85/86 front bumper on it. White. $600.

Ooohhh! Maybe two new projects. T-top?
What year did the rear end change to the 8.8"? I know mine has it, but I wasn't sure if '86 was the first year or '85.
Hey, if you get the'83 and want to get rid of that bumper, I still haven't found a replacement yet.

No. The Ttop is a GT hatchback car. I haven't looked at it yet. It's about an hour away. I'm gonna let them sit on it a few more weeks to see if the price comes down before I consider it seriously.

Just got some pics via text.. Jared finished up his five lug conversion last night. Summit axles, powerstop rotors, calipers, and pads. Eibach sportline springs,I think kyb shocks, sve uppers and lowers. The factory 7.5 was swapped with an sn95 8.8. He's waiting on his wheels to come back from the blaster. He's going to use the stockers off of his 97 that were painted black. His plan is to refinish them the factory silver.

I have a question....

Why can't your buddy Jared post his own updates?
He doesn't care about us does he?
