Current mods are in my sig

Ok, here we go - this is my DD, so I'm looking to stay emissions legal and keep a streetable car (I'm going to eventually get a beater for winter/rainy weather).
My goal is ~400rwhp, more if possible

Stage 1: Mild cams (blower), valve springs + port/polished heads

Stage 2: Forged internals - crank, piston + rods (possibly shorty headers too)

Stage 3: KB 9psi intercooled

Stage 4: Replace broken driveline parts

First of all, can I get to ~400rwhp with the above mentioned parts? I'm assuming it should be enough, but I could be wrong. Secondly (and most importantly) can I keep a streetable, emissions friendly car as well? That is as important to me as the power, unfortunately.

Suggestions? I'm just learning, so feel free to tear my ideas to pieces

Yes you might be able to reach 400 w/o cams, and the port and polish. Sounds like a good plan, good luck!

you will be over 400 rhwp..since u will have a forged bottom end..u can crank up the boost ..also since u will rebuild the bottom end..might as well throw a stroker kit. with stage 2 heads/cams, you will be well over 500 rhwp
sounds like a good plan to me...I would do 3 ,1 ,2 and 4 tho.

Depending on the amount of cash you have, I would think about beefing up the rear-end BEFORE it goes out. I realize you could just wait till it goes... but who wants the embarresment of ANOTHER Ford breaking at the strip.

Moser 31 spline forged axles, FRPP 3:73's., and your choice of LSD.

yes, definitely higher than 400rwhp no doubt. Make sure you get a GOOD tune.

Acutally, this most likely will not be a track car - at least not a heavy duty one. I'm only planning on having street tires (like Nittos), not going the DR or slicks route. And I realize that I could still burn out my clutch or snap my driveshaft with that much power, but I'm not sure I want to spring for new driveline components until I really need them.

However, the more I think about it, the more likely I am to beef up the rear shortly after (or even before) I get the KB. Two questions - 1) What would be the total $$ on the parts you listed above? 2) What's an LSD?
