my check engine light flashes 3 or 4 times when i start my stang

it only does it sometimes and i'm not sure if it blinks 3 or 4 times. can someone tell me what this means. I'm in england and i don't even know where i would go to get the codes read, so if someone can clue me in i will really appreciate it.

sounds like air bag....

when I get home I will double check that but it is easy to reset if it is, it takes a small std. screwdriver and 2-3min. to reset.

Yea airbag has its own light. The CE light flashes and goes away? Or does it stay on after it flashes...?

ahhh, yep it was the air bag light I was thinking of sorry.

a code scanner should pick it up if you can find one over there.

That would be kinda like buying a new car because your old ones needs an oil change, but you could get a handheld (we know Grady aint gonna hold ya back).

If you have a paperclip you can retrieve the codes yourself. We can post links as to how to do this if you are interested.

Codes are being stored. A $30 code scanner from an auto parts store will be a good tool to own. If you can get one where you are have a friend mail you one.

I don't think a Tweecer will read your codes.

As others have said, other methods would be much cheaper.

I gotta say I can relate to ... any ole excuse will do to justify a new gadget for your Stang
