So about two weeks ago my clutch pedal "became loose" and started wiggling around. It works just fine and there is zero issue with the clutch and im at a loss as to why it did this all of a sudden. Is there a way to tighten the pedal? Oh and its and 04 GT. Thanks in advance.
It is the stock clutch with an aftermarket adjuster. I have adjusted it but it came back a day or so later. Ill adjust it more and if it comes back again ill come back here for more insight. Thanks!
check the clutch fork.....their is a spring that holds the throw out bearing to the fork i have seen that spring break or the throw out bearing some how come out of it
If the clutch works as it should, I would think that the cable is in the beginning stages of stretching/breaking. So you have a "firewall" adjuster? Or its an after market quadrant/stock cable set up? If still a stock cable and quadrant, take ur toe and lift up on the pedal. This will adjust it using the stock parts.
