My custom bogart BOLTED D10's came... pics inside

Well, most of you know I ordered new wheels for my car recently. I ordered 2 17X9 bogart RR10's and 2 17X10.5 bogart RR10's. Here's what they look like...

In addition to these, I also ordered a set of "bolted D10's." The neat thing about these wheels is the fact that I have the first set ever made for a mustang!!! that's right, I'm the first with these bad boys!!! I was going to get regular D10's, but the RR's are a bolted design, and in talking with Steve from SJM Manufacturing he suggested we try getting a "bolted D10" which has never been made for a mustang before. So here is one of one!!! Let me know what you think. I will put up pics as soon as I get the RR10's and get the car back together and out of the garage... I hope that will be this comming week.

Thanks guys! I forgot to mention that these wheels in the pic are 15X4. These pics really don't do them justice I assure you. They look even better in person!!!

John- that's a good question. I wanted the RR's to accept a shank style lug (the same as I'm running on the bolted D10's) and they are not typically made that way, so its taking longer than usual to machine them. I hoped I'd have had them by now, or that they would have shipped last week, but they should be shipping any day now. I HAVE to have them by the 14th as I'm taking the car to Cecil for the SSOTN race there on the 17th, but I'll be in Cleveland on the 15th and 16th with no time to get the wheels mounted. I have the tires already, 2-245-45-17 Nitto 555's and 2 315-35-17 Nitto DR's.

Paul, those look sick. What did you decide to do for the skinnies? Did you put the Pepboys 165's on there? I can't wait for pictures. Can you take the car out of the garage for pictures or do you still have white chit on the ground?

Paul I've been looking forward to seeing your wheels more than I am to get some much-needed new ones on MY stang lol. Those 17's are gonna look sssooo nice. You need to take like 20 pictures from every angle and post them.

The 15 looks really great too. SSHHIINNNYYY lol. Hope you get closer to that 11.99 now.

Joe, i did go with the old VW tire... 165R15. I'm almost wishing I'd have gone with a set of moroso D2's now, but I wanted to be able to drive to the track on these so I only have to change 2 wheels instead of 4. As you know our 'verts lack the storage space to haul all 4 wheels. I can't move the car yet, I need to put the intake elbow and T-body back on, fix a vacuum line I broke, grind down the pass side caliper mounting area, install my PBR caliper on that side, put in my head and tail lights along with the turn signals, change the oil, etc. And I think you jinxed me on the white stuff... its freaking April and they are calling for up to 6" of snow today!!! As soon as I can move the car, I'll get pics up.

Josh- thanks! I spent the better part of 6 hours re-polishing the wheels as I got a few little scratches on them when I had the tires mounted, so they look REALLY good now. I'm planning to zoop seal them later as I still have to polish around the bolts... that is PITA but I got a few tricks up my sleave to accomplish it. I hope this brings me just a little closer to the 11's. I had hoped to drop 100lbs off the nose of the car this winter... now it looks like it will only be around 60lbs or so since I don't think I'm putting the battery in the trunk at this time. I'll keep you posted!

I hear ya man! Just one more step for my car and im done until the stock short block goes, and thats a C4.

Thanks guys for the compliments. I just got word that my RR10's will be here monday!!! I can't wait!!! I don't have any more pics of the car as I can't move it right now. Hopefully this weekend I will be able to pull it outside and get some better pics of the front wheels, they look SO DAMN GOOD!!! The more and more I look at them the better they look. These pics above do not do them justice. The third pic down maybe, but I will try to get some better shots of it on the car and out of the garage.
