why? i'm a canadian. i take offence to stereotypes. i sure as hell won't lose sleep over it though. i don't see why people feel a need to be dick heads just because they are in front of a keyboard? i only say the things that i'd have no problem saying to another mans face. i carry myself with dignity whether on or off the net, and i guarantee a large % of the people on here wouldn't have close to enough ballz to step up and say the kind of stuff they do on the net to me in person.

Arn't most class C ( 198.0.0.0 - 199.255.255.255 for North America)?

If its a static IP I dont see why it couldnt be done with out effecting anyone else.

Most ISP's own the class B's and they are mixed throughout. When IPV6 comes, they will be regionalized/divided up by country.

ISP's typically don't give you a static IP unless you pay for them. They use DHCP to keep you from hosting stuff on your home network and advertising to the world. That's what DYNDNS is for...

Anonymizers are a dime a dozen. IP blocks are pointless.

Jeee-zuss. I decided to start skipping out of BHR for awhile because of all the drama down there. Now I see this crap popping up here in 5.0 Talk, as well? WTF is wrong with everyone? Are we all collectively on the rag, or what?

I see nothing that warrants a ban, as of this moment. You guys keep it up, and you'll create one, but it'll probably be more than one member being banned. This isn't the place for you to sit around and whine like children at one another over he said, she said BS. I don't care about quotes, I'd rather see direct examples linked from threads if you're going to post examples of why the someone should be punished for something. Taking that one step further, I'd really prefer if you'd click the "report post" button when you feel a TOS violation has occured, and the moderator(s) for that forum will review it and decide accordingly, so as to prevent pointless threads like this one.

I see no reason. I found one thread's worth of disagreements beside this one, but no personal attacks, or anything that would justify it. I think this is more of a case of needing to add people you don't get along with to your ignore list.

ok, well i'll be the first to say, this is the kind of stuff that can ruin an internet site. i have never really had a problem with this guy personally, even though i have seen a lot of crap come from him. but i am totally on DMAN's side. DMAN has/is/will contributed in a constructive manor to this site, and it would be a shame to see him leave. I'll throw my name on the list also. It's clowns like this that make a good site become ****.

i dont think anyone is whining. we're simply asking not to allow this forum to turn into a ****ing playground for ignorant e-thugs. i have no personal interest in this situation, other than the fact that i am sick of some of the crap people have been throwing around here lately. it's in this sites best interest to deal with it in a responsible manner......

That's fine...if that's the final decision I would appreciate it if you could find the appropriate administrative memeber to delete my account. Apparently being banned once and following that up with a whole new name while being even more ignorant and belligerent is acceptable ... If that's the case perhaps more time should be spent elsewhere.

I would like to ensure my request was followed along with one way of another.
