My gauges arent working.

I was installing a shift light and I blew the fise for the gauges. I changed it, and they still dont work. There are two harnesses behing the cluster. The wire I touched that blew the fuse was on the right side of the black harness and it was hot when the key was on, not its never hot. But a few of the lights work in the cluster.

Im thinking I fried the wire. Im gonna splice into another wire thats hot when the key is on, think that will work?

Didnt work. Does anyone know wtf might be wrong? This is really pissing me off.

Nah, that wouldnt have anything to do with it. Thats just a hole in a big piece of metal. It dosent have any wires or anything in it.

Do you guys think I might have fried my cluster? It wasnt even connected when I blew that fuse.

More info, everything except the needles work, the lights all light up, just the needles dont move.
