Just bought this car in Ohio. I have had a 1965 Mustang fastback, 1966 GT Coupe, 1976 Cobra II, and a 1987 Mustang GT. All sold over the years and my wife and I decided to get a new toy. Really great shape and all original. New to this forum. Look forward to our new adventure with this car.

Nice looking car and welcome to the forum. I dont know a lot about that generation of Mustang. What upgrades does the Shelby option give over a standard GT?

A seriously bad ass mill hand assembled by one of the factories best technicians
lowered the car 1.5" with new coil springs and Heavy duty sway bars, new cold air filter intake, different tune on the engine - shorter throw Hurst shifter- switched wheels to 18" with 235/50R tires, different high flow exhaust system ( I believe Borla), badging and that's all I know so far. There was an article by Motortrend "First Test: 2007 Ford Shelby GT" that gave me most of the info
