i think it would look cooler if you made it look like the older year stangs like mine where the color of the dash continues to the door panels and through the rest of the car, ill try to post a pic of what im taking about

I toyed around with that idea, my friend thought it would be ugly. I was also considering dying the glove box(except the latch) and the space under the steering wheel(by your legs) black.

I have to be careful what I dye, because there really isn't a "going back". I suppose I'd have to strip the dye somehow and then redye it.

Congrats :)I like how the shifter matches the console. SEM makes a good leather dye if you wanna do the seats as well.

Leather dye? I had no idea they made those :jaw:

Ohhh my brain hurts now, so many more possibilities. I'm ordering a styling bar within the month, getting a black one :nice:

Criticism? OK.

Now you need to burn your nose again and finish it. ;)

I don't like the beige parts. All should be black and red if you want it to look completed, IMO (except the guage faces). Then a touch of aluminum accent on controls might finish it off well.

Black interiors in muscle cars are the best, I think. Red exterior = some matching red interior trim looks nice.

And the passenger side airbag area should be red like you did around the instrumentation, coming down to the same level... because that would give it better balance (visually).

I hate beige interiors in Stangs. :barf:

Not ricey at all man- it looks GREAT!. I've seen alot of redone interiors that totally suck big time, but yours is a refreshing reprise from that. I love it and I bet it looks even better in person! Nice job!

Very nice...

The only problem is that the car is begging for a new shifter :D

Also, does those White face A/C guage looks good at night? I'm considering of getting one..

Yah they are from speedhut. Both my gauges and hvac glow blue, or green, or diff shades of each.

As far as a shifter goes, soon...gettin a steeda triax

I commend your effort and I think you got something sweet goin there. But i' dye everything on the dash black. I think the tan black and red are contrasting too much. The red is gonna be blowin up with all black interior though!!! Not alot people take time to do interior mods and that is what sets one car apart from another!

Well, not gonna remove the dash all over again just to get the small passanger side area hehe...I might make the pony on the steering wheel and the "Mustang" writing on the passenger side black, that may help the issue. I agree with not liking the tan, that's the entire reason I did this. The problem is, the entire rest of the interior is tan, the seats, carpet, etc. I didn't want to buy new seats and new carpet etc, so I decided to keep a little tan.

Turned out nice, but you brought up some bad memories of changing a heater core in my old 5.0 :bang:

Hah, yeah my buddies mentioned that when we had it out. "Well, if you ever need to change your heater core, this is how." I know your pain :P

I think it looks great! I guess I one of the few that like the three colors together. The ONLY thing I would have done differently would have been to leave the left and right vents tan. They look a bit out of place to me. Oh, and how about a bit of black paint on the "Mustang" lettering? That would probably look pretty good.

Great job!...has me wanting to do some interior work.
