My next project , a 428 build!

I found my CJ vacuume pcv cross over tube and all but the power brake fitting but I should have it here some where. The carburator is a rebuilt 600 ,way to small ,I have a newer 750 holly duel feed vacuumed secondary but I am sure it will need accelerator pumps .

Haven't had a chance to work on it but I did order the stainless headers ,black cobra valve covers and a molly distributor drive key . I have to wait for the drive key to install the oil pump.

Well crap ,headers will not be here until the 7 th of November, I need them to build my start up stand!

Distributor drive key made it i think i could have put 50 or more in the box it came in!

Rear main seal fixed ,oil pump in and checked for height and drive key inplace , and ....not one of the oil pan bolts line up ,about 1/3 of a hole off !
Guess I will have to slot them slightly !

Well ,looks like the 4 front holes may let it go back far enough ,we will see!

It was the front 6 holes ,some sideways but all front to back . I used a rat tail file so I wouldn't go to far . A couple still a bit tight but the SOB bolted down!

I bolted on the valve covers even though they will come back off so I can see if they are oiling ,just need some oil and a oil gauge and I can prime it!

Fuel pump ,thermostat is in ,just need some oil and an oil gauge and I can prime it . Start up stand will be next!

Filled it with earl! And we got the earl pressure! Had to put the valve covers back on because it was dumping oil from the rockers !

Autolites are in place ,now to make up the wires . I found the set i was looking for for Nicks motor ,since I bought wires for his these will go on mine!

Wires on ,need a few wire thingies to keep them seperate . Now I just need a coil ,fan and new accelerator pumps for my holley and its on to building a start up stand ,it wont be a waste ,I have a 390 I want to build a stroker with!

This was a new 750 Holley vacuum secondary duel feed , manual choke ,it was on my brothers 73 f100 with a 351CJ . Probably only had 100 miles on it before he parked it . Still looks pretty good but will clean up nice .
I am going to tear it down and trick kit it because I am sure it has dried out . Should run this thing nicely !

A little peak in the motor side of my old Coors roll up door trailer . Lots of motors to build ,we have a few 4 bolt main 351 clevelands ,a coupe of 302 s ,a few 390 GTs . Buckets of rods ,motor mounts ,bell housings and piles of stainless trim . I need to go through it some day to see what's burried in there . That's only one side ,the other side is packed full of interior and a lo

t of exterior mustang parts !

My fan and coil came in today .
I ordered a cobra oval bottom ,air filter and mounting kit today ,I have an original top off a 67 shelby . The new bottom is for a single 4v although my original top is duel 4 v. The mounting kit allows the two 4 top to attach to the single 4 bottom .
