I actually like the 'black suede' look on some vehicles. My bike is silver -- and I'm seriously considering painting all the silver bits with the satin black 'suede' treatment. Give it that full blown 'hooligan bike' look. However, with your car, be prepared for it to REALLY absorb heat, especially out in sunny CA. Flat or satin black paint absorbs and holds heat at a MUCH greater rate than any other color or finish you put on it. It's gonna be warm. The good news is that you can fry eggs on the horizontal surfaces anytime after noon from March through October.
