Ok, hopefully you 5.0 saavy folks can help me figure out what all I got here on my new ride.

Here are the specs I have so far on the engine. I will hopefully be updating this thread with some pics of some parts that I'm not sure what they might be...stock or not, etc.


Here's the engine build.

Excessive motorsports shortblock. I have no specs on this shortblock. I wonder if somehow I can call them and get any info about the order...but its from like 2001.

The build was done locally by a reputable Mustang shop....Pauls Auto and Engineering in Cincy. Here are some of the specs from what I've seen in receipts.

6.5 chromemoly pushrods
SHD timing chain
Cam#2 – 221/223 276/280 .509/.509 107Deg
24lb injectors
Holley Alum Heads – 1.94/1.60 valves
Cobra 1.7 Rockers
Votech MAF - assuming it matches the injectors

MAC ram air setup, mounted below front bumper.

TB - not sure, afraid it may still be stock? Will post picture maybe you can help me figure it out.

So far, does this stuff seem like a pretty good setup?

Tubular K member – MU-2000TK2
MM LCA’s adjustable
MM Steering shaft
MM 1/4” spacers
MM standard torque arm
HR Race Springs
Last owner put on cheapo KYB shocks
Ford Racing front A-arms
MM panhard bar
Front/Rear strut tower braces - rear is Saleen, front is Steeda I think
Cobra sway bars front/rear
F/R disc brake setup - still 4 lug though
Welded in full length SBC's

with that intake i highly doubt your running the stock tb

From what I can tell the TB has no markings on it.

Does this look like a stocker? Does anyone know what type it might be? I can post other pics of it if that would at all help.

should run pretty decent. take the intake tube off and take a pic of the butterfly. or just measure it. my ford racing 65mm throttle body doesn't have any markings on it, i bet the 70mm doesn't either. it could be one of those.

Will do. It runs pretty darn good. Especially after it was throwing codes and I put a new TPS on. Runs great now!

Stupid question, but I wonder how much HP this thing makes. Its definetely setup for higher end power rather than low end.

The blades on the TB have no markings either.
