408W Almost Done!! Progress Pics

Well i got all my front bracketing done, i ended up going with mostly all the march performance stuff... I almost got already i need, just A tranny and carb! I get sidetracked alot, i decided to splurge and buy a Cannon Rebel XT D-SLR. Its all good though, now when i go to the track and pull the front tires off the ground i can get a good picture!!!!!!!!! Here are some pics - tell me what ya think?

Is your block painted or powdercoated? I would assume painted cause not too many people powdercoat a block. What kind of paint did you use and what's the color, I really like it!

Its just spray paint. Its been a while since i did that, but i think it was hi-temp engine paint... Ford Blue. Im pretty sure i put like 3 coats of paint on it, and i also put a few coats of clear on it with the same stuff.

You gonna have any belt rubbing issues with that belt set up?

Sweet, get some videos of the first start-up, i wanna hear what the 408w sounds like. And about the belt rubbing, i dont think i will, on the top side i will have about 2.5" of clearance between the 2 sides. I hope it dont rub!

That's one of the sexier looking engines i've seen. I hope there's a clean engine bay to set it off. Carbs own.

Yeah it will maybe be a good race, but not when i slap my turbo on mine

This is the turbo i will one day be putting on the car...
