bringing my car in for some dyno tuning and this is what he told me to do before i come down.

-One step colder plug gapped at .032

-Hook up my bottle warmer

-Install my 30lb injecotrs and mass air

-Turn timing to 10 degrees

-Change oil

does that gap sound right to you guys? sounds really low to me even though im running a 100 shot.

I am running a .035 gap. Currently a 50 shot but I will keep it at that when I go with a 100 shot.

Sounds good except the timing. Is it a dry or wet unit? 10 degrees for a 100 shot might be a little conservative for a wet unit. I used to run 14-16 with my NX wet unit on. I never had a head lift.

I had mine at .035" inch and i was suffering from spark blow out at high RPM & WOT. [Vortech SQ-Trim in engine]

I closed the gap to .030" and all is well.

.032" should be OK but if the spark blows out on the Dyno, definitely closed the gap a little. The car will suddenly cut power similar to what a rev limiter will do.
