This paint job

on this notch

I love that mystic chrome, but not sure what it would look on a fox?

Tight!!!!! Red X chamillion paint. No, but I think I know of what car your talking about. Was pretty nice but I think I would cry a little everytime that paint got a scratch, knowing how much it costs.

ah crap, no more X......stupid internet

I have seen it on a notch before, and it looked AMAZING! The only bad thing about it is i was told its real hard to match say, if you got a dent and had to repaint a quarter panel or something. I was told that whoever paints it for you needs to keep the exact bacth number so if you ever need something repainted, it will match.

its really not all that expensive and its not that hard to match either,i've painted this color before, shops mark it up rediculous for this exact reason because ppl are under the impression its extremely expensive,if you have the car painted just make sure they mix a little extra or just know the formulas for mixing they used, how reduced and amount of coats and stuff.i think the colors cool but its kinda played out.

I have a friend with a body shop now, he has his own PPG station I like that mystic chrome because it doesn't have the 20 different colors (you know how they do; red, pink, blue, orange, purple, etc... unlike the mystic chrome) which kind of reminds me of horse flys lol... The mystic chrome looks green and blue but with different tints. I play with color and schemes everyday (graphic designer and web dev) so I'm VERY picky when it comes to this sort of thing. lol

I don't care about price, I just wonder if it would look good on a fox, I figure since the fox has straight edges, the color differences should make the lines stick out more. The only body mods I'm doing on mine is maybe a Cobra grill insert and the classic cowl hood. I see many of the other color changing paints, but the mystic chrome is rare in my parts, the only ones I see are the real Cobra's which I may see if there is a 200+ Mustangs car show lol

To me the white, red and black stangs are played out too... I look for something different when we are out, and 90% of the time, if i see a fox, its red, white or black

That's kind of a tiny picture for use as a background...

I've seen it on a few show cars at the past WFC's on a couple of Foxes and one Lincoln Mark VIII. Looked killer in every case, but as mentioned, I would have a total emotional (and financial) breakdown if it ever got scratched or anything and needed a touch-up or respray. Maybe someday when I get insanely rich enough to have a car to just allow to sit around in a climate-controlled garage and only take out on the road once a month, or something...

Looks best with a good set of aftermarket rims, though. Those deep-dish Cobras look nice on it, but so would a set of something like ROH Snypers, '97 GT 17" rims, Bullitts, and/or '93 Cobras, IMO.
