Anyway, my 10 year old son closed the garage door on my rear bumper last night. The paint was by no means perfect, but THIS...it's just so obvious. There are three parallel scratches and the middle one is kind of deep, sort of a gouge, I'd say. It's about 1/2" thick, too and went ALL the way down.
I've been reading a lot about the mystichrome paint but I'm STILL confused. I'd love to keep the factory application but don't want to pay Ford ANYTHING. I'm hoping now that it's 2010 prices have come down.
Any advice is appreciated.
