just thought i would introduce myself... I just got in the mustang world a week ago I bought an 87 vert 2.3 with 45,000 original miles from an old lady. I don't think the car has been over 60 it's whole life. anyway there are lots of good info on this forum and thanks to all for sharing ur how to's.

yeah, i got my car with 75k and it was an old man car. Thing I noticed, was that the engine was barely broken in, it would be pushing it to go to 3k rpm. yeah, i beat her in real well. so just so you know, it might be good to open it open it up after you do a tune up.

yea i plan on doing some of that but the downside is it is the good auto... the thing is as slow as a vw beetle. but the fun will start soon enough
