Tony Stewart took time out of his BUSY schedule (Went from IND to up here in Fargo,ND then back to NC for last weekends race all in 1 day) to race sprint cars up here. I only took a few crap pictures on my cell, my girlfriend got the better pictures on a real camera.

I must say, I think NASCAR is stupid/boring/etc but I know that if I went to a race live I'd probably get hooked. I must say, he made the talent up here look like they'd never raced before when he was on the dirt! Then again his car looked like it was brand spanking new with the best of everything vs the low/no budget racers up here.

That being said, I gotta give the guy props for being such a down to earth cool guy. I don't follow the sport at all but I'd throw my hat in for having him win whatever NASCAR's top prize is :D

I think California lost their spring race too. I think New Hampshire and Phoenix should lose a race. I don't want to see Kansas get a second race and I don't care to see Kentucky get one. I'd like to see Rockingham get one back though and Iowa would probably put on a good show. The Nationwide series needs to return to places like South Boston, Nashville Fairgrounds, Myrtle Beach, and Hickory to get away from the Cup series again.

so the Chase is set. Denny Hamlin gets the top seed by virtue of 6 wins.

He drives a "toyota"

With all the hate the 48 team gets, what would you prefer? Jimmie to win his 5th in a row or to have a Toyota win the championship?

What will "hurt" NASCAR the worse?

Neither, one of the Roush boys can win (preferably Edwards) and all is good. :nice:

I don't think NASCAR had a clue who won today. After the backlash of penalizing Bowyer earlier, I think this was their way of trying to please the people that were mad. My gripe was that the 17 was the fastest car all day and nobody would draft with him, except the 31, who got dumped by Joonyer.
