NASCAR in KITSAP

If you folks want a NASCAR track in Kitsap county then contact your local representatives and send an email to;

This may be the only other site being looked at in Washington.
Please send this info to everyone you know because the folks that don't want a track are already lining up against it. Ed

They pushed a pretty hard fight out here in Arlington. Signs and banners everywhere whether they were for or against it.

The neighborhood I'm in is within walking distance of the previous proposed location, which meant it was likely subject to increased traffic plus the noise from all the races going on. It was eventually shot down from Snohomish County because of budget issues.

I would have been for it even more if it included a drag strip ... that would have been cool.

so far, according to the Bremerton Sun website, folks are in favor by a 2 to one margin. I suspect most folks that don't want the track also drive Hondas, Toyotas or Nissans!
